Third-party research corpora (NOT redistributed in this repository)

Large third-party source trees used for corpus linting and reverse-opt notes
are cloned separately into a local directory outside this repository. They are:

- not committed to this repository
- not shipped in release archives of XPerf packages
- cited only by URL + commit (or tag) in each kit’s `docs/corpus.md`

Those upstream projects remain under their own licenses. Cloning or analyzing
them is the user’s responsibility; this repository does not grant rights to
redistribute those corpora.

Optional bench / example jars (NOT committed)

JMH, JOL, fastutil, Eclipse Collections, and similar jars used by jvmperf
examples and benches are **not** part of the git tree. Fetch them locally with:

  bash packages/jvmperf/scripts/fetch-lib.sh

See `packages/jvmperf/lib/README.md` for Maven coordinates and SPDX ids.
Those artifacts remain under their upstream licenses; this repository does not
redistribute them.

Runtime dependencies of individual kits (for example tree-sitter bindings for
jvmperf-lint, or the Zig standard library) are fetched by the kit’s own build
system and are not part of the MIT-licensed guide/lint sources except where
explicitly vendored in-tree with accompanying license text.
